About me

Hi my name is Yoka Valzacchi, I have two beautiful grown up sons and two fur babies, Bella and Henry, chickens, guinea pigs, fishs and bees.

My interests are gardening and bee keeping.  I keep bees because they are very important to our planet. Without bees our food supply would become very limited. (more about bees see web link below)  I am studying a Bachelor of Property and  Professional Contexts will assist me in applying for future employment.

Overview of Unit

As mentioned in the orientation video by Lyn Costigan, Unit Coordinator/Lecturer, communication in a professional context is about research, referencing, writing and speaking clearly.  These skills are important for university studies and in the work place.

Ms Costigan has advised all students enrolled in Communication in Professionals Context to obtain the text book titled, Communication Skills for Business Professional.  In addition to obtaining the text book, Ms Costigan suggests students access Moodle and emails weekly.

Furthermore, Ms Costigan recommends using Yourtutor on the Moodle website can be very beneficial.  The website enable you to obtain feedback on structure, punctuation, grammar, spelling and referencing, with a 24 hour turnaround time.
